cremation. A 180-pound adult, for example, needs roughly 180 cubic inches of capacity. Most STONLIF adult
urns are sized at 200 cubic inches; smaller pieces are available for children, infants, and pets. Each product
page lists the exact capacity.

Yes — names, dates, and short messages can be engraved on most pieces. Engraving adds two days to the
standard dispatch timeline. Mention the engraving when you reach out so we can confirm the design and lead
time before you order.

All STONLIF urns are suitable for burial. Our wooden urns will gradually return to the earth over time — a
fitting end for many families. If you'd prefer something that holds its form longer, ask us about our more
durable pieces. Most cemeteries require an outer burial vault around the urn regardless of material, so check
with yours before purchase. Mention burial in your message and we'll recommend the right piece for your
intentions.

Our urns close securely with threaded or screw-on lids, though they aren't hermetically sealed —
crematoriums return remains inside a sealed inner bag, which the urn holds. For air travel, carry
the urn in the cabin rather than checking it, and bring the death and cremation certificates.
International flights may require additional documentation depending on the destination country.

Yes. We offer smaller-capacity urns specifically for pets — cats, dogs, and other companions. They share the
same handcrafted finish as our human urns, in proportions suited to the smaller scale of that loss.

In-stock pieces leave our warehouse within 48 hours. Out-of-stock pieces ship in 14 to 20 business days. If you
have an urgent timing need — for example, a service later this week — please mark it clearly in your message
and we’ll prioritise.

After dispatch, shipping typically takes 5–7 business days international through established freight partners.
Tracking is sent automatically when your urn ships.

You’ll receive an order confirmation by email within minutes of placing the order. A second email follows when
your urn ships, with the tracking link. If you don’t see either, please check your spam folder before reaching
out.

Yes — within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, the piece may already be in preparation for dispatch.
Email us as soon as possible if the address needs to change, and we’ll do everything we can to update it
before the urn ships.

Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free of charge. Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the
outer packaging and the damaged urn, and we’ll arrange a replacement immediately.
